Koxinga Shrine is dedicated to Cheng Cheng-Kong (Koxinga), a Ming dynasty loyalist who drove the Dutch East India Company out of Taiwan in the 17th century. Established in 1874, the shrine is a significant historical and cultural site in Tainan City. The grounds feature a statue of Koxinga, the Sanchuan Gate, Kinmen-Shaped pool, Main Hall, Back Hall, and a Monumental Archway, all set within beautifully maintained gardens. This place is filled with tourist attractions so you have a lot of options for sightseeing. We made a list of places we wanted to see and missed out on a few museums and other places. Overall we really liked the city and the places here and it was an amazing vacation with the family.
We had a great tour of this place thanks to our amazing guide and friend. He made sure that we know everything about the place and even went above and beyond with showing off things, being hospitable and having a great interaction with. The tour of the place was made awesome only because of his knowledge and kindness.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
It is a great place to stay and gives you much luxury and comfort at a great price. The service is great and the management was very prompt and was very helpful and assisted us with everything. The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!
