Shrine of Billian Wali Sarkar

The Shrine of Billian Wali Sarkar is a significant religious site located near Bhatti Gate in Lahore. It houses the mosque and tomb of Ghulam Rasool, a saint known locally as the 'Master of the Cats' due to his care for the city's feline population. A compelling legend surrounds the saint, involving a request from Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to remove a decaying pigeon from his burial chamber, an act that led to widespread reverence and, eventually, a request for him to relocate from Medina.
