Purani Haveli, meaning 'Old Mansion,' is a U-shaped palace in Hyderabad that served as the official residence of the Nizams. Now functioning as a museum, it houses a collection of artifacts, gifts, and personal belongings of the Nizams, offering a glimpse into their opulent lifestyle. Notable highlights include the world’s longest wardrobe, spanning 240 feet, and a unique hand-cranked wooden elevator. The palace’s architecture blends traditional Indian courtyards with 18th-century European facades. It is located near the Salarjung Museum and Chowmahalla Palace.
The place is so beautiful that I could not take my eyes off it. The place is a heritage building which has stunning architecture and the Victorian style walls are simply amazing. We visited the place on a weekday and it had a lot of people. But things were arranged in a proper way and we could have the tour nicely.
This is the most boring place I have ever been to and I am not even sure why this is listed as a tourist attraction. It is just a huge barren land with nothing to see and do and has few shops which sell very expensive things. I don't recommend this place to anyone. It was just a waste of time.
