The Old Anatomical Theatre in Tartu is a historically significant building once used for medical education and anatomical studies. It houses a remarkable collection of pathological anatomy specimens, offering a glimpse into the medical profession of past eras. The building itself is a beautiful example of historical architecture, located within Toome Hill park. Currently, the theatre is under renovation, with limited access to the old auditorium. Some exhibits are temporarily available at the AHHAA Science Centre. The adjacent former morgue cellars, used for ice storage to preserve bodies, are also of historical interest.
