Souda Beach is a spacious beach located approximately 3-4 kilometers north of Plakias, Crete. It's known for being less crowded than Plakias Beach, particularly on windy days due to its natural shelter. The beach features a mix of sand and pebbles, with shallow, clear water ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Facilities include sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, and several tavernas and a beach bar. A distinct section of the beach is designated for naturists, fostering a harmonious atmosphere between both types of bathers. A small river flows into the sea at one end of the beach, adding to its unique charm.
