Bukit Jambul Orchid & Hibiscus Garden and Reptile House is no longer operational as a garden. It has been closed for some time. Currently, the area is known for a hiking trail leading to the hilltop. The hike takes approximately 30-45 minutes and rewards visitors with excellent views of the city and the sea. The site once featured orchid and hibiscus displays, as well as a reptile house, but these are no longer accessible.
This attraction is best suited for hikers and those seeking panoramic views. It appeals to individuals and small groups who enjoy outdoor activity.
The dry season (February to June) offers the most favorable hiking conditions.
Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends. Early morning or late afternoon are recommended to avoid the heat of the day and enjoy pleasant lighting for views.
The hiking trail is not fully accessible. It involves uneven terrain and inclines, making it unsuitable for wheelchairs or those with limited mobility. The former garden area is inaccessible.
