Uruguay Street

Uruguay Street, located in Downtown Beirut near the Beirut Souks, was formerly a premier destination for nightlife in Lebanon. Known for its numerous pubs, lively atmosphere, and frequent events, it attracted a diverse crowd, including students and expats. While many establishments have closed in recent years, the street retains some of its charm and continues to offer a selection of bars and restaurants. The area is pedestrian-friendly and close to other attractions like Roman Ruins and St. Georges Church. Recent reports indicate a slow revival with some pubs reopening.
