The Harrison W. Smith Botanical Garden offers a peaceful escape to experience the rich botanical diversity of Tahiti. Situated approximately 50 km (30 miles) from Papeete, the garden features a collection of plant varieties native to the island and beyond. While not extensive in size, it provides a well-maintained and informative experience for nature enthusiasts. The garden is adjacent to the Gauguin Museum, which was undergoing renovation at the time of some visits. It's a location appreciated for its labeled trees and trails, offering a moment of serenity.
While making our itinerary, we included this place towards the end and thought that incase we are behind time, we will skip it. But thank God, we didnt because it was one of the greatest places to visit. Easily accessible, conveniently located, gorgeous location and the easy navigation for the entire tour of this place made it much more fun and enjoyable. I will suggest everyone to please visit this place.
