Arte Moris is an art establishment in Dili, Timor-Leste, dedicated to supporting and promoting the work of local artists. Housed in the former National Museum in Comoro, the center features a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, and murals, often reflecting the artists' personal experiences and political perspectives. The atmosphere is described as laid-back and somewhat run-down, but possessing a unique charm and authenticity. Many artists live and work on the premises, creating a dynamic and immersive environment. The center is known for its affordability, with art available for purchase directly from the creators.
While making our itinerary, we included this place towards the end and thought that incase we are behind time, we will skip it. But thank God, we didnt because it was one of the greatest places to visit. Easily accessible, conveniently located, gorgeous location and the easy navigation for the entire tour of this place made it much more fun and enjoyable. I will suggest everyone to please visit this place.
