The name is a local convention, as 'fig' refers to bananas in Antiguan dialect. The drive passes through rainforest, banana plantations, and small villages, providing a contrast to the coastal scenery. While the road can be bumpy, it's generally passable and considered a must-do for those seeking a different perspective of Antigua. Several points of interest are located along the route, including an art gallery and a zip-lining center.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
We had a great tour of this place thanks to our amazing guide and friend. He made sure that we know everything about the place and even went above and beyond with showing off things, being hospitable and having a great interaction with. The tour of the place was made awesome only because of his knowledge and kindness.
This was our 5th time visiting this camp and the scenery and the service including the facilities are just awesome. You have to look out for the best time to visit the camp because winters could be too cold and for some not a feasible option. Even though you can enjoy the winterland, you have to be fully equipped with everything.

If you visit this place, you will be mesmerized by the sheer beauty of this city. It's like everywhere you look, you end up with fantastic views of nature and pure gorgeous scenes. The holiday could not have been any more pretty and relaxing.
