St Moluag's Episcopal Church, located in the village of Eoropie on the Isle of Lewis, is a historic site with roots stretching back to the 6th century. While the current structure is at least 800 years old, a church has stood on this location since approximately 560 AD. The church is closely associated with Maelrubha, a patron saint of the Morrison Clan, and is believed to have healing properties, particularly for mental illness. A unique feature is a 'squint,' a small opening allowing those with communicable diseases to observe services without direct contact. The church is still actively used and has been sensitively restored, maintaining its simple, atmospheric charm.
