The World of James Herriot is a captivating museum dedicated to the life and work of Alf Wight, known to the world as James Herriot. I always wanted to visit this city as it was on my bucket list and there is so much to see here that you really really fell in love with the culture, the buildings, the people and the food of this place. We took the tour package where the guide took us to all the main spots and apart from it, we were able to enjoy so much at the markets of the city and shopped so much stuff.
This place is filled with tourist attractions so you have a lot of options for sightseeing. We made a list of places we wanted to see and missed out on a few museums and other places. Overall we really liked the city and the places here and it was an amazing vacation with the family.

The place was great, ambience was amazing and the food was delicious and it brought back a lot of memories of your childhood days since the concept of the place was to make customers nostalgic about the comfort food everyone used to have. It was simply incredible.

This museum is the best I have been to and it was a great experience because here it was so much to see and learn. There was another room where you could watch the war videos and war based movies which were really insightful. It was a great experience. You can get mind blowing info here and learn about the great establishment of this country. It was truly an amazing experience.
This is an amazing place and a must see for all the visitors. It is adorned with beautiful interiors and historic walls. The stories of the past of this building are incredible and the view is just awesome.

It is one of the best museum experiences I had. The museum is centrally located in the city and can be assessed by normal public transport. The museum had a huge collection and was displayed in a very orderly manner. It took us some hours to explore the whole museum but it was a brilliant experience.
This was a traditional B&B and was very warm and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and nice people. It is very conveniently located and is easy to find. The food from their kitchen was very homely and delicious and they made sure that we had a hearty breakfast. Overall a great experience and we are booking this place again.
The morning was beautiful and the weather was just perfect. It was such a nice day to visit this place and have a fabulous day out with your friends and family. We planned a little picnic and it was just a refreshing and relaxing time for all of us.

This is an amazing street with lots of ancient buildings and so many shops from where you can purchase so many things. The street is the most happening point of the city and has a lot to see and do. A lot of great cafes and restaurants are also there which are the best places to try out some tasty food and indulge in nice drinking. It was a great experience.

Staying at this place was an absolute delight because the people hosting us were incredible and marvellous. They were kind, warm and super friendly. They showed us around, made our stay memorable and comfortable and helped us with all our queries and made sure that we have the best time. Thank you once again for being this amazing.
This is an excellent restaurant which is the new opening in the town and also the talk of the town. The delicacies prepared here are awesome and delicious. The chefs have all come from outside and serve the best of gourmet food. It was exotic and tasty array of food and I highly recommend this place to everyone. Just awesome!!

While making our itinerary, we included this place towards the end and thought that incase we are behind time, we will skip it. But thank God, we didnt because it was one of the greatest places to visit. Easily accessible, conveniently located, gorgeous location and the easy navigation for the entire tour of this place made it much more fun and enjoyable. I will suggest everyone to please visit this place.
