The Ritz Cinema in Thirsk is a historic single-screen cinema operated entirely by volunteers. Established for over 100 years, it provides a traditional cinema experience with modern digital projection and sound. The cinema offers significantly lower ticket prices than larger chains and maintains a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere. It features both stalls and balcony seating, a small confectionery kiosk, and often hosts screenings of current releases alongside occasional special events. The building has been recently refurbished, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for visitors.
The place was great, ambience was amazing and the food was delicious and it brought back a lot of memories of your childhood days since the concept of the place was to make customers nostalgic about the comfort food everyone used to have. It was simply incredible.
This is an excellent restaurant which is the new opening in the town and also the talk of the town. The delicacies prepared here are awesome and delicious. The chefs have all come from outside and serve the best of gourmet food. It was exotic and tasty array of food and I highly recommend this place to everyone. Just awesome!!

While making our itinerary, we included this place towards the end and thought that incase we are behind time, we will skip it. But thank God, we didnt because it was one of the greatest places to visit. Easily accessible, conveniently located, gorgeous location and the easy navigation for the entire tour of this place made it much more fun and enjoyable. I will suggest everyone to please visit this place.
