Cementerio aleman de Sighisoara is a well-maintained cemetery situated on the west slope of the hill leading to the Hill Church, just outside the citadel walls. Established as the burial ground for the German-speaking community, it contains tombstones dating back to the early 1700s, alongside more recent graves, including war graves from both World Wars. Many of the markers note the professions of those interred, providing a unique insight into the lives of past residents. Shady paths wind among the grave markers, creating a serene and contemplative atmosphere.
