Camina Balay nga Bato is a meticulously maintained ancestral house dating back to the 1800s, originally belonging to the Avanceña family. It provides visitors with an immersive experience of Ilonggo heritage, showcasing Spanish colonial architecture and furnishings. The house features a museum in the basement and a souvenir shop. Guests are typically welcomed with a traditional hot chocolate drink and biscuits, and guided tours are available to explain the history of the house and its significance to the local community. It is still partially inhabited by descendants of the original family.
We decided to go to this famous museum and loved every bit of it. The guide was superb and the collection was diverse. Some of the antiques were really fascinating and the stories associated with them were very interesting and intriguing. All and all, our museum tour was quite successful.

The place was great, ambience was amazing and the food was delicious and it brought back a lot of memories of your childhood days since the concept of the place was to make customers nostalgic about the comfort food everyone used to have. It was simply incredible.

We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
