Pope John Paul II Tower

Pope John Paul II Tower stands as a tribute to the late Pope’s visit to Bacolod City in February 1981. The 7-story tower, located near SM City Bacolod, features a statue of Pope John Paul II at its base and offers visitors a vantage point for observing the city and surrounding bay. The tower itself contains exhibits related to the Pope’s visit, and religious items are available for purchase on the ground floor. Climbing to the top provides a physical challenge but rewards guests with expansive views, though the western side overlooks the SM City mall rooftop.
