The Sagada Pottery & Training Center was established by an American, Sanderson, with the goal of providing a sustainable livelihood alternative to farming for the local community. Starting with fifteen students, the center now has a smaller number of trainees. The center offers demonstrations of traditional pottery techniques, allowing visitors to observe the process and even participate in a brief hands-on experience. While photography is not permitted, the center showcases a collection of locally made pottery.
