The Lion's Head is a 40-foot-tall concrete sculpture located on Kennon Road, a major route leading to Baguio City in the Philippines. Conceptualized by the Lions Club members of Baguio in 1972, it has become an iconic landmark, signifying proximity to the city. The sculpture has been repainted over the years, with recent iterations aiming for a more realistic lion appearance. While primarily a photo opportunity, the area also features stalls selling souvenirs, snacks, and drinks, making it a convenient stopover for travelers. Recent reports indicate potential access difficulties due to a rockfall, with cleanup expected to take approximately a month.
This is an amazing place and a must see for all the visitors. It is adorned with beautiful interiors and historic walls. The stories of the past of this building are incredible and the view is just awesome.
The place was great, ambience was amazing and the food was delicious and it brought back a lot of memories of your childhood days since the concept of the place was to make customers nostalgic about the comfort food everyone used to have. It was simply incredible.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
