Bhimsen Temple is a significant religious site within Patan Durbar Square, approximately 5 kilometers from Kathmandu. Dedicated to Bhimsen, one of the five Pandavas from the Mahabharata, the temple is particularly revered by the Newa people of the Kathmandu Valley, who associate Bhimsen with business prosperity and ethical conduct. The three-story structure is noted for its three interconnected golden windows and has withstood earthquakes, though some bracing is visible on the north side. While a beautiful example of Newari architecture, access inside the temple is restricted to Hindus.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.
