Kaeleku Caverns, also known as the Hana Lava Tube, is a naturally formed cave created by a Haleakala volcano eruption approximately 1,000 years ago. Located on private property just outside of Hana, the attraction provides visitors with a self-guided tour through a portion of the lava tube. Guests are equipped with flashlights to navigate the darkened passage, observing geological formations and learning about the volcanic history of the area. The site features informative signage detailing the tube's creation and characteristics. The experience typically lasts around 30 minutes.
