St. Anne Shrine is a unique and largely undiscovered site in Lake Wales, Florida. Originally a Catholic shrine, it was constructed by one individual over many years using coral rock. Though abandoned by the diocese, it is now privately maintained and continues to be a place of quiet reflection and, for some, perceived healing. The shrine consists of an altar, arches, and other structures nestled in a wooded area near a lake. Finding it requires a bit of searching, as it's located within a residential neighborhood and signage is minimal.
