Playa Delfines, also known as El Mirador, is a public beach located in the Cancun Hotel Zone. It’s celebrated for its stunning turquoise waters, expansive white sand, and the famous colorful “CANCUN” sign, which serves as a major landmark and photo opportunity. The beach is easily accessible via public transportation and offers complimentary facilities such as restrooms, showers, and palapas for shade. While the waves can be strong, making swimming challenging at times, it’s a favored destination for sunbathing, walking, and experiencing a more local beach atmosphere compared to those directly associated with hotels. It's generally well-maintained, though visitors sometimes note the presence of seaweed.
