The Sumo Museum is a compact exhibition space attached to the Ryogoku Kokugikan, the national sumo stadium in Tokyo. It primarily features displays related to sumo history, including photographs of past champions, hand and footprints, and tournament rankings. A television often plays footage of recent sumo matches. The museum is generally free to enter, but may have limited access during sumo tournaments. Due to its size and limited English translation, it is best suited for those with a pre-existing interest in sumo.
