Petersfield Provincial Park is a large park situated on the south arm of Sydney Harbour. Open seasonally from May 20th to October 10th, the park features a network of 7 km (4.5 mi) of trails, picnic tables, and interpretive signage. Historically, the grounds were part of a grand estate, though the original buildings are no longer standing. The park is popular with individuals, families, and dog walkers, providing a peaceful escape and opportunities for outdoor recreation. During the winter months, facilities and services are unavailable.
