Watkin Path

The Watkin Path is a historic and scenic route to the summit of Snowdon, Wales' highest mountain. It's known for its varied terrain, starting in woodland, progressing through open countryside with waterfalls, and culminating in a steep ascent over scree. The path is approximately 10km round trip and offers breathtaking views throughout. It's considered a more demanding route than some others, requiring a good level of fitness and appropriate footwear. The path passes by the ruins of an old slate quarry and offers a less crowded experience, particularly during the off-season.
