The Three Distilleries Pathway is a 3-mile (each way) route linking Port Ellen to the distilleries of Laphroaig, Lagavulin, and Ardbeg on the Isle of Islay. This largely flat, tarmac path offers a safe and enjoyable way to visit the distilleries on foot or by bicycle, avoiding road traffic. The path is well-maintained, though showing some signs of wear, and provides beautiful coastal views. It's a popular route for both locals and visitors, particularly during festival week, and is suitable for buggies, bikes, and those seeking a leisurely walk between distillery experiences.
