Batterie Moltke is a restored German WWII fortification located in the northwest of Jersey. Constructed as part of the Atlantic Wall, it served as a coastal defense battery during the German occupation. The site features gun emplacements, underground passages, and remnants of radar installations. Managed by the Channel Islands Occupation Society (CIOS), the battery is open to the public at select times, offering visitors a tangible connection to the island’s wartime past. The surrounding area provides opportunities for coastal walks and birdwatching.
