Fortress Al Jazeera Al Hamra is a historic village abandoned in 1968 following a dispute. Once a thriving community of fishermen and pearl divers, the village is now a collection of crumbling coral stone houses, mosques, and shops. The site provides a unique opportunity to step back in time and experience a bygone era of Emirati life. Renovation efforts are underway, but much of the village remains in a state of picturesque decay. The area is known for its atmospheric quality and local legends of paranormal activity.
