Sakli Kilise, meaning 'Hidden Church,' is a lesser-known Byzantine cave church in Cappadocia, Turkey. Access is not directly available; visitors must obtain the key from the custodian of El Nazar Church. The church is situated in a remote location, requiring a climb and careful navigation along a narrow ledge with significant drop-offs. Inside, visitors will find frescoes, though not as vividly preserved as those in the Goreme Open Air Museum. The appeal lies in its solitude, offering a unique and adventurous experience for those seeking to escape mass tourism.
