About About the place

The Atatürk Museum, located in the Çekirge district of Bursa, is a three-story wooden house built in the late 19th century. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk resided here during several visits beginning in 1923, with his last stay in 1938 shortly before his passing. Opened as a museum in 1973, the house displays original furnishings and personal items used by Atatürk, providing insight into his life and work. The museum features exhibits on the ground floor, including historic photographs, while the upper floors showcase his bedroom, study, and a guesthouse. A peaceful, tree-shaded garden surrounds the building, and the archaeological museum is nearby.

It was a pleasing and an interesting visit to this great museum. They had a huge collection of fascinating artefacts and culturally infused items. I really enjoyed a few parts of it. It is quite big so you might feel a little bored in between. You can skip through whatever doesn't interest you.
