Toneelschuur

The Toneelschuur is a contemporary cultural venue located in central Haarlem. Replacing an older building of the same name approximately ten years ago, it now features two halls dedicated to theatrical performances and modern dance. The complex also includes a cinema showcasing a selection of arthouse and independent films, alongside a comfortable cafe offering coffee, beer, and wine. The building's design, created by a Dutch cartoonist with assistance from Mecanoo architecture firm, is noted for its lively and engaging exterior. It provides a platform for a wide range of artistic expressions and professional levels.
