Bierlokaal Cafe de Koffer is a small, neighborhood bar in Groningen, Netherlands, celebrated for its impressive collection of Dutch and international beers – often exceeding 200 varieties. The bar offers a relaxed and intimate setting, frequently described as feeling like a home living room. Knowledgeable staff are readily available to provide recommendations and guidance through the diverse beer menu. While it can become busy with students, it also offers quieter moments for regulars. The bar is conveniently located within walking distance of the city center and is known for occasional live music performances.
We stayed in for one night here and the hotel was too expensive and not at all worth it. The place was a little crappy in shape and a lot of maintenance was going on and all the rooms were not even furnished properly. But we had no other option and had to stay therefore had to sacrifice and paid extra to stay a night.
