Ban Singha Tha represents the oldest part of Yasothon, characterized by a concentration of well-preserved, though often dilapidated, wooden buildings. The area showcases a blend of Thai and Chinese architectural styles, reminiscent of pre-war shop houses found in Malaysia. Alongside the historic structures, visitors can find local shops, Vietnamese restaurants, and nearby temples, including a Chinese temple and a Thai Wat. While the area holds cultural significance, it currently lacks substantial investment in restoration and is somewhat overshadowed by other attractions in the region.
