Wat Sila Ngu Temple, also known as Wat Ratchathammaram, is a relatively new temple situated on a steep coast along the ring road between Lamai Beach and Hua Thanon. The temple is distinguished by its terracotta-colored buildings adorned with elaborate bas-reliefs and sculptures depicting scenes from Buddhist mythology and folklore. Inside, visitors can find depictions of Rahu eclipsing the sun, sea demons, Hanuman’s warriors, and a large golden Buddha. The temple offers a quiet and contemplative atmosphere, making it a unique cultural experience on Ko Samui.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.
This is an amazing place and a must see for all the visitors. It is adorned with beautiful interiors and historic walls. The stories of the past of this building are incredible and the view is just awesome.
