Phra Mahathat Chedi Pakdee Prakas is a relatively modern temple constructed to commemorate the 60th anniversary of King Rama IX's reign. Perched atop a hill overlooking North Ban Krut Beach, the temple is renowned for its intricate design, colorful stained-glass windows, and expansive views of the surrounding bays. The architecture features numerous halls, corridors, balconies, and niches adorned with golden Buddhas and stone statues. Visitors should be prepared for a climb up a series of steps to reach the temple grounds.
