The Phitsanulok-Lom Sak Route (Highway No. 12) is a major thoroughfare traversing mountainous terrain between Phitsanulok and Petchabun provinces in Thailand. Recently improved with widening projects, the highway provides a smoother and safer journey than in the past. The route is celebrated for its picturesque landscapes, including lush national parks like Thung Saleng Luang, cascading waterfalls, and charming villages. Numerous coffee shops, restaurants, and resorts dot the roadside, offering convenient stops for travelers. While historically known for being dangerous due to narrow sections and hairpin turns, the dual carriageway sections now enhance safety. The highway extends onward towards Khon Kaen for those continuing their journey.
