Haew Suwat Waterfall is a prominent natural attraction within Khao Yai National Park in Thailand. Located approximately 20 kilometers from the park's main entrance and 11 kilometers from the visitor information center, the waterfall is accessible via a relatively short hike of around 200 meters. The falls cascade into a pool below, though swimming is currently prohibited. Visitors can enjoy views from above and alongside the falls, navigating a series of steps and rocky terrain. The area is known for its lush surroundings, diverse flora and fauna, and the sound of cascading water. It gained international recognition after being featured in the movie 'The Beach'.

The rainy season (May to October) offers the most impressive water flow, while the dry season (November to April) may result in a diminished waterfall.
Weekdays are less crowded than weekends. Early morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds and enjoy cooler temperatures.
Accessibility is limited. The waterfall is not considered handicapped accessible beyond the very top viewing area. A significant number of steps (around 117) are required to reach the bottom, and the terrain near the base is rocky and uneven. Individuals with mobility issues or knee problems may find it difficult to navigate.
The waterfall is generally considered suitable for families with children, but caution is advised due to the steep steps and slippery rocks. Close supervision is recommended, and sturdy walking shoes are essential. There are no dedicated changing rooms or specific kid-focused activities.
Pets are generally not allowed within Khao Yai National Park.
A restaurant and restrooms are located near the parking area. Picnic facilities are limited, but visitors can find suitable spots to sit and enjoy a snack.

We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
