The 2-28 Memorial Museum commemorates the events of February 28, 1947, when tensions between Taiwanese residents and Kuomintang (KMT) troops escalated into violence, resulting in the deaths of many civilians. The museum, located in Taipei's 2-28 Peace Park, aims to preserve the memory of this tragic event and promote understanding of its lasting impact on Taiwanese society. Exhibits include historical documents, photographs, and artifacts related to the incident and the subsequent period of martial law. While much of the signage is in Chinese, audio guides are available to assist international visitors.
It is a great place to stay and gives you much luxury and comfort at a great price. The service is great and the management was very prompt and was very helpful and assisted us with everything. The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.

This is one of the most iconic and important places in the city. The history and the beauty associated with it is incredible. We decided to take a guide in order to understand the facts better. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

This was a beautiful park which has pretty scenery and lush greenery. It has walking pathways with proper trails lined with pretty trees and there are also plenty of benches to sit there for the people. The musical fountain was the highlight and it was amazing.
The trip to this place has been an emotional and a moving experience. The collection displayed and the stories behind it leaves you with a lump in your throat and makes you understand the sad history which people had to go through.
It was a pleasing and an interesting visit to this great museum. They had a huge collection of fascinating artefacts and culturally infused items. I really enjoyed a few parts of it. It is quite big so you might feel a little bored in between. You can skip through whatever doesn't interest you.
