Dakeng No. 4 Trail is part of a network of hiking trails located just outside Taichung City. Known for its steeper inclines compared to trails 6-10, it's considered one of the more difficult trails in the Dakeng system, alongside trails 1-3. The trail is popular with those seeking a good workout and natural scenery. It's possible to combine hikes, ascending via Trail No. 2 and descending via Trail No. 4. Currently, trails 1, 3, and 10 are closed due to damage. Hikers are advised to bring water and snacks.
