Cimeiyu (also known as Qimei) is a small island located off the coast of Taiwan, accessible by ferry from Magong on Penghu Island. The island offers a peaceful escape with scenic beauty, particularly the iconic Double-Heart Stone Tidal Weir. Visitors can explore the island by scooter, enjoy snorkeling in the clear waters, and experience the local culture. While the island is relatively undeveloped, it provides a charming and authentic Taiwanese island experience. The journey itself can be affected by weather conditions, and the ferry ride can be rough. Limited English is spoken, but locals are generally helpful.
We decided to visit this place and I think that because it was the weekend, it was too crowded. We were not able to have a good tour since so many people were there and it was not a very nice experience. The place seemed good but I guess the crowd ruined it for us.
