Tamkang High School

Tamkang High School holds a significant place in Taiwanese history as the first English school established on the island, founded by Canadian Presbyterian minister George Leslie Mackay. Situated adjacent to the site of Oxford College, now Aletheia University, the school is known for its tranquil atmosphere. It gained further recognition as the alma mater of Jay Chou, a highly popular singer and actor, and served as a backdrop for his film, 'Bùnéng shuō de mìmì'. However, it's important to note that the school is a functioning educational institution and generally not open to casual tourists.
