Checheng Station is a small township and train station located on the scenic Ershui-Checheng branch line in Nantou County, Taiwan. Once a vital hub for the logging industry, the area now offers visitors a chance to explore its history through the Log Museum and surrounding attractions. The station itself is still operational, serving as a stop on the TRA railcar line. Beyond the station, guests can find craft shops, food stalls, and a relaxing park, making it a pleasant stopover for those traveling through the region, particularly those visiting Sun Moon Lake.
The place is so beautiful that I could not take my eyes off it. The place is a heritage building which has stunning architecture and the Victorian style walls are simply amazing. We visited the place on a weekday and it had a lot of people. But things were arranged in a proper way and we could have the tour nicely.
It is a great place to stay and gives you much luxury and comfort at a great price. The service is great and the management was very prompt and was very helpful and assisted us with everything. The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!
