Emerald valley

Emerald Valley is a captivating natural site located a short drive from Hualien Railway Station. Visitors traverse a brief, safe tunnel to reach a tranquil area with a cascading waterfall and a shallow, clear stream. The stream bed contains stones, so caution is advised when wading. The area offers a peaceful escape and opportunities for relaxation, with options for both following the main path or exploring a less-traveled route across the river for a more secluded view. A former rope bridge once connected these areas but is no longer functional.
