Moon Cave Recreation Area is a modest natural attraction located along the coast. The cave itself is relatively small, containing stalactite formations and a body of freshwater influenced by the tides. A brief boat tour takes visitors inside the cave to observe these features and, during certain times of the year, bats entering hibernation. It's often encountered as a roadside stop during larger scenic tours and is known for its affordable entry fee and somewhat whimsical atmosphere.
