The dry season (November to April) is the best time to visit, with calmer seas and sunny weather.
Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends. Early morning and late afternoon offer the most pleasant conditions, with fewer crowds and beautiful sunsets.
The beach is generally accessible, with relatively flat terrain. However, some areas may have soft sand, making it challenging for those with mobility issues. Accessibility to facilities like restrooms and restaurants may vary.
The gentle waves make Weligama Beach suitable for children to play in the water under supervision. However, the presence of surfers requires caution. Stroller access may be limited due to sand conditions. Changing facilities are not widely available.

This park is amazing and has beautiful scenery. It is a perfect spot to take a good walk or even go for a run. There is a dedicated trail, well managed in the park. The trees by the trail are just beautiful and provide a lot of good air. There are also benches in the park where you can sit and relax.
This is an amazing place and a must see for all the visitors. It is adorned with beautiful interiors and historic walls. The stories of the past of this building are incredible and the view is just awesome.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
This is an excellent restaurant which is the new opening in the town and also the talk of the town. The delicacies prepared here are awesome and delicious. The chefs have all come from outside and serve the best of gourmet food. It was exotic and tasty array of food and I highly recommend this place to everyone. Just awesome!!
