Cheongcho Lake is a central feature of Sokcho, functioning more as a working harbor than a traditional lake. It's particularly renowned for its stunning nighttime views, where the surrounding buildings' vibrant lights reflect beautifully on the water's surface. A well-maintained walkway encircles the lake, providing a pleasant space for strolling, with ample seating available. The area also includes parks and a bird sanctuary, offering a blend of natural and urban landscapes. While a peaceful spot, some visitors note the presence of disruptive motorized traffic.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
