Nagle Dam

Nagle Dam is a picturesque destination located approximately 20 minutes from Cato Ridge in the KwaSwayimani area. It provides opportunities for fishing, boat cruising, and outdoor recreation with numerous braai (barbecue) areas and a maintained lawn. The journey to the dam involves winding roads through mountainous terrain and local townships. While the natural beauty is a draw, visitors should be aware that the facilities are somewhat lacking and the remote location can feel unsafe due to the presence of locals.
