The Squero di San Trovaso is a historic gondola workshop located in Venice, Italy. Established in the 17th century, it remains one of the few active boatyards dedicated to the construction and maintenance of Venetian gondolas. While direct access inside the workshop is restricted, guests can view the artisans at work from across the canal. The surrounding area offers a glimpse into authentic Venetian life, with charming squares, traditional cicchetti bars, and a quieter atmosphere away from the main tourist thoroughfares.
There are places in the world which are so beautiful and magical that going there once does not suffice your travel karma. This is definitely one of those. I loved it here and the place had my heart.
This is an amazing place and a must see for all the visitors. It is adorned with beautiful interiors and historic walls. The stories of the past of this building are incredible and the view is just awesome.
