Dempsey Hill is a unique enclave in Singapore, transformed from a former British military barracks into a vibrant lifestyle destination. The area is characterized by lush greenery and colonial-era architecture, now home to a diverse range of dining options, from casual cafes to upscale restaurants, alongside antique shops, art galleries, and boutique stores. While offering a relaxed atmosphere, it's known for being slightly removed from the city center and often frequented by expatriates. Recent roadwork has occasionally impacted the visitor experience.
The hotel was a nice place to stay and the best part here was the free wifi and free parking which is the hardest thing to find in this city. The hotel was well equipped and the staff was very professional. The rooms were big enough and it was a decent stay which also included breakfast.
This is an excellent restaurant which is the new opening in the town and also the talk of the town. The delicacies prepared here are awesome and delicious. The chefs have all come from outside and serve the best of gourmet food. It was exotic and tasty array of food and I highly recommend this place to everyone. Just awesome!!
This is the most boring place I have ever been to and I am not even sure why this is listed as a tourist attraction. It is just a huge barren land with nothing to see and do and has few shops which sell very expensive things. I don't recommend this place to anyone. It was just a waste of time.
While making our itinerary, we included this place towards the end and thought that incase we are behind time, we will skip it. But thank God, we didnt because it was one of the greatest places to visit. Easily accessible, conveniently located, gorgeous location and the easy navigation for the entire tour of this place made it much more fun and enjoyable. I will suggest everyone to please visit this place.
We went to this amazing place and loved the view and the scenery. The place was really crowded as it is one of the most famous tourist attractions but you need to look out for pickpockets here because apparently a lot can happen here if you dont pay much attention.
