Knjaževsko-Srpski Teatar

Knjaževsko-Srpski Teatar (Kragujevac Theater) is a significant cultural landmark founded in 1835 during Kragujevac’s time as the capital of Serbia. It stands as one of the most representative buildings of its era, alongside the Gymnasium and Court building, reflecting the artistic patronage of Knjaz Mihajlo Obrenovic. The theater emerged during a period of national independence and has continuously supported Serbian cultural life, adapting and evolving through various theatrical formations.
